Harry Potter Hair

With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 coming out Thursday at midnight, everything Harry Potter has been on our minds. The stars dressed to impress at the London premiere. We love Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe's messy, tousled, locks (Bb. Texture would be the perfect product for this look) and Emma Watson looks chic and feminine with her short, smooth, pixie cut.
Bonny Wright (Ginny Weasley) looks all grown up and gorgeous. Obsessed with her auburn locks!
The stars looked easily as lovely at the New York premiere. The boys kept their same tousled do's and Emma switched things up going more sleek and edgy. It's fun to see how versatile short cuts can really be. Seeing this whole phenomenon come to an end after all these years is going to be surreal, we are sure to shed a few tears like Emma Watson.

Vogue

Kate Winslet is featured on the cover of the April 2011 issue of Vogue UK looking GORGEOUS! She surprised us with a new platinum, pixie cut (which we are already obsessed with) that looks AH-mazing on her. We loved her as a redhead but we have to admit she looks flawless! Platinum pixie cuts are definitely a trend for spring and summer!

Sigh

Oh how I am obsessing over short platinum locks. Some day when I'm brave enough I will take a cue from these two lovely ladies, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan. They prove short hair can still be versatile and suprisingly quite feminine.

hair how-to: Marissa

Fun for short, pixie cuts.
1] Start with damp hair.
2] Spray hair all over with Tonic Lotion.
3] Work Bb.Texture throughout damp hair roots to ends.
4] Blow-dry, pushing hair forward.
Voila!

Academy Awards Hair

Award season is coming to an end, but the fashion and hair styles will be recreated for months to come. I was suprised to see quite a few short hair cuts at the Academy Awards. It reminded me short hair can be fun AND sexy! We are obsessed with Michelles cute pixie cut, she totally rocks it!

And Cate looks GORGEOUS with her new short 'do! We are also loving the beige-blonde color.

Scarlett's textured bob is fun and playful. The golden blonde is a huge trend for spring and really complements her skin tone.

Gwyneth kept it simple and chic with a simple center part and straight hair. Classic!

Natalie and Mila gave a nod to the 40's with their beautiful side-swept waves (Also a huge trend).

And let's not forget the men! This season is all about keeping it handsome and classic, a huge influence from the 50's and 60's. Find a hair how-to here.

KK

I LOVE this fun, messy look. Here's how you can get it at home:

Spray hair all over with Prep.

Apply Styling Creme from roots to ends.
Blow-dry with a round brush.

Apply Styling Wax throughout for piecey texture and shine. Voila!

Short Hair

We have seen quite a few short celebrity do's lately and it's tempting us to chop our long locks. Short hair is a great way to draw attention to your eyes and cheek bones. Plus, it makes your neck look longer and sexy! We get a lot of requests for the ever popular Sienna Miller blonde crop.

Victoria Beckham is always someone we turn to for the latest trends and her hair is no exception. We love this messy, curled a-line.

Tuck it behind your ears, add some bangs and its a whole different look.

After watching Wall Street we fell in love with Carrie Mulligans hair.

And she proves that short hair can look great dark and blonde. We became even more obsessed with Carrie's hair after seeing her Vogue cover.
