Harry Potter Hair

With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 coming out Thursday at midnight, everything Harry Potter has been on our minds. The stars dressed to impress at the London premiere. We love Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe's messy, tousled, locks (Bb. Texture would be the perfect product for this look) and Emma Watson looks chic and feminine with her short, smooth, pixie cut.
Bonny Wright (Ginny Weasley) looks all grown up and gorgeous. Obsessed with her auburn locks!
The stars looked easily as lovely at the New York premiere. The boys kept their same tousled do's and Emma switched things up going more sleek and edgy. It's fun to see how versatile short cuts can really be. Seeing this whole phenomenon come to an end after all these years is going to be surreal, we are sure to shed a few tears like Emma Watson.

Boho Braid

Boho braids are huge for summer. In the picture above Blake Lively shows us how to do it right. She sported this fun, textured braid on the red carpet for the premiere of Green Lantern. To create this look:

1} On wet hair apply Grooming Creme on the ends of your hair.

2} Follow by spraying Surf Spray all over hair.

3} Dry hair with a diffuser to get beach-wave texture.

4} Pin hair to the side. Fishtail braid part (or you could do all) of your hair and secure with a hair band.

5} Finish by spraying hair all over with Spray De Mode.

Celebrity Fan

Florence Welch (the songstress behind Florence and The Machine) is a fan of Quenching Shampoo and Conditioner! What's not to love? They replenish, strengthen, give hair shine and protect the hair from future dryness and damage. Don't forget, they now come in litre sizes (4 times as much as the 8oz and costs less than 3!).

MTV Movie Awards: HAIR

There were lots of lovely locks on the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet. Here are some of our favorites....From Brunettes to Blondes Ombre hair color proved to still be a big trend for summer. It's more natural then last years drastic version (think Drew Barrymore), it's perfect for sunkissed highlights.

The redhead trend keeps growing, Emma Stone went back to her natural roots. Expect to see a lot of redheads this fall.

The blondes didn't disappoint, we are loving the look of blonde on blonde (subtle highlights). A lot of celebs kept their hair in natural waves. Gorgeous!

Water for Elephants Hair

We saw Water for Elephants a few weeks ago but we still can't stop thinking about the hair and costumes! Reese embraces the classic Hollywood beauty of the 30’s as a circus performer, her finger waves and pin curls were so well done and she looked absolutely beautiful!
The easy way to get Reese's waves is with a 3-barrel/Marcel curling iron, it will give you the general look of her hair but it will be a more perfect wave. If you're looking to get her exact look you're going to need to go old school! If you google "finger wave tutorial" you will get a lot of videos or step by step picture tutorials of how to use your fingers and some product to get her look.We also loved the men's hair. Super short on the sides and longer on top. Robert Pattinson kept it messy while working during the day, sleek and shellacked to the side during the night. We are all loving an updated version (George Clooney pulls of this look well) of this look on our male clients. So classic and handsome!

Billboard Music Awards 2011

To be honest we only had a couple of hair favorites from the Billboard Music Awards this year. Selena Gomez wowed us with her long straight locks. Simple, chic and gorgeous!
We loved Taylor Swift's retro waves. She always looks glam but with the red lipstick and sparkly dress she's looking very old hollywood. Love.

Do we dare admit we loved Rihanna's red locks?! She pulls off the bright red amazingly well, the length and style also look lovely on her (makes us want to chop our locks). Keeping her outfit simple and white really makes her hair the center of attention.

Hollywood Redheads

From siren to strawberry redheads have been popping up all over Hollywood. Hayley Williams and Rihanna have gone with the bold siren red. Looks great on them but it's definitely not for timid!
When we think of redheads we can't help but think of Christina Hendricks. We've said it before and we'll say it again, we LOVE her color!

Isla Fisher always looks lovely with her natural auburn waves.

With all eyes on the royal wedding we couldn't help but notice Princess Beatrice (how could we not with that pink bow fascinator?!). When you look past her amazing hats your will notice her more amazing auburn locks. Her natural-looking ombre keeps her hair fresh and fun but still proper.

New to the redhead scene are Drew Barrymore and Blake Lively. Drew is a color chameleon but we hope she sticks with this red for awhile, it looks great with her skin tone.

Blake lively debuted her red hair last month and proved that she can do no wrong! She colored it for a movie so expect to see her signature blonde locks back in no time.

Met Gala 2011: HAIR

The Met Costume Gala brought out Hollywood's hottest celebs with the most amazing dresses and HAIR! Here are a few of our favorite 'do's of the night. Starting with Blake Lively (who never seems to disappoint) who's blonde locks are perfectly smooth with the right amount of bend and curl.

Gwyneth also kept her hair down but went a little more beachy. We love showing off our natural texture, especially come summer time.

Keeping hair down seemed to be a big trend of the evening. Michelle Monaghan updated her look with blunt bangs, her dark hair looks gorgeous against that highlighter pink dress!

We LOVED Ginnifer Goodwin's pixie cut!

Dianna Agron kept it chic and simple with a beautiful pulled back pony. This is a great look for after the pool this summer.

Vogue

Kate Winslet is featured on the cover of the April 2011 issue of Vogue UK looking GORGEOUS! She surprised us with a new platinum, pixie cut (which we are already obsessed with) that looks AH-mazing on her. We loved her as a redhead but we have to admit she looks flawless! Platinum pixie cuts are definitely a trend for spring and summer!

Sigh

Oh how I am obsessing over short platinum locks. Some day when I'm brave enough I will take a cue from these two lovely ladies, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan. They prove short hair can still be versatile and suprisingly quite feminine.

Jen's new 'do

In February Jennifer Aniston stepped out with a new 'do. She chopped off quite a few inches leaving her with a sexy long-bob (aka lob). Although we will miss her coveted, long locks we think this is a fun change and she totally rocks it! What do you think of her new haircut?
