Black beauty- Home tour

I have read my current issue of Belle a few times mulling over every little detail of the most fabulous homes I have seen in a long time - then to my surprise the wonderful July issue of Ivy & Piper also featured the same home- designed by Greg Natale- All pics courtesy of Greg Natale.

I am thinking about installing this light in our dining room - As usual the budget is tight but I think this option is a "Similar" look for less & simmilar to the one featured in this magnificant home.

Home Decor - Vintage maps

Out to lunch with some friends over the weekend I was seeking some recommendations for places to visit in Europe - a few places were thrown about, France, Italy, Germany..... As most of you correctly guessed I have started an amazing new job so unfortunately travel is on a back burner for a short while.

I Imagine Berlin would be a beautiful -loving this beautiful Berlin Map pillow, the fabric got me thinking (and googling) beautiful old maps from the web...

Horsing around

I found this beautiful foal by English brand Beswick ($5 because his ear has been mended).

This little foal reminds me of when my horse "Star" when her was born at the other end of the paddock, the only thing we could see was the white star marking on his fored and the long legs, just like this beauty. Stars mothers name was Horse...literal naming helps with the kiddies I think.

Nook Inspiration

So the signature feature of the bedroom that I moved into last November when I began my single leti 3.0 phase is the little nook where I keep my bed. It's my favorite hideaway these days but it is still a work in progress.  I wanted it to be a sort of cozy, hippie, harem-inspired,  Moroccan influenced, Indian block-printed, pillow-laden, teepee, love fort type thing. Here are some examples of my inspiration, I will post photos of the nook soon.

UPDATE: Thanks MLP
