Lady Gaga for Harper's Bazaar May 2011 Issue

I really love this spread of lady gaga in Harper's Bazaar, even the shot with the 6 breasts.  Its crazy, its glamorous, but most of all its really GAGA.  The shot with her standing underneath a glass chandelier in an embellished sheer gown is stunning. Its not something you would expect from Gaga because of how toned down it is in comparison to her red carpet appearances, but she looks so beautiful and elegant. I love the really dramatized winged liner with the pink hair. This shoot just screams gagalicious, but in a slightly different path. I absolutely love it!

Toni Garrn models for Camilla Akrans in Harper's Bazaar. This shoot possesses such a liveliness and feminine charm with every white, crisp, tailored garment. The fact that it's in LA gives it this super glam golden girl vibe. She looks very fresh and beautiful! I love the white floppy hat and those tiny flower pieces in her hair! Very fresh looking for spring and summer :)

 btw, just wondering....do any of you have spring break coming up? I do and I'm SOOOO EXCITED!

Cover Girl: Katy Perry Limited Edition Cover

A little while back I posted the shoot for Katy Perry's December Harper's Bazaar cover and spread. Now, there is a limited edition cover for the magazine. Katy is featured with swarovski crystals covering her lips. If you did not have a chance to find this limited edition cover, you can also check out the magazine on Zinio (a digital magazine stand). Cover Girl: Katy Perry

Newlywed Katy Perry covers the December edition of Harper's Bazaar. Though the cover is a blatant reference to the always popular metallic color scheme of winter, the inside spread is based on muted colors. I love the play on her alabaster skin against the rich dark color of her hair. I am sure we will be seeing more of this soft almost washed out filter on fashion spreads for the winter editions of your favorite magazines. Winter is a time of very drab and non-existent vibrant colors, fashion spreads often imitate this by removing color. 

My favorite is the second image with her curved pose leaning on the table. Her black suit immediately draws you to her and then your eye travels down the image to her shoes due to her pose.
