A while ago I used to always look at ad campaigns as well as runway recaps on style.com, and I would always find this trend of pairing chunky socks with heels. At first I thought it was kind of wierd, but as I got used to it I started to really like it. First off, I don't think it would look by any means cute if the shoes were open-toe, that is just my personal preference. I think a close toe platform (like in the picture above), booties, or army inspired combat boots would look sooooo adorable with chunky knit socks! I love this trend now that I actually tried it a few times. What do you guys think of this trend?
