Ramblings of a TRAIN JOURNEY, and ALEXANDER McQUEEN.

Today I had to get a 2 hour 50 minute train journey to kill, so armed with the latest Vogue (February 2011- absolutely amazing.  For those of you who haven't bought it, or who aren't habitual readers, it's well worth the €5.  I'm talking.. Christopher Kane interviewed by Alexa Chung, interview with Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Warpaint..) and my iPod, I sat and waited to be taken back to Dublin.

So, firstly I was thinking about outfit posts.  Outfit posts, I think you'll all agree, are amongst the finer aspects of the blogosphere.    They interest and inspire in equal measure and are definitely amusing to compile.  As well as being the best, however, I find that they tend to be the most difficult to organise, and the hardest to actually get around to doing on a regular basis, as I usually have to cajole either my boyfriend or little brother into playing photographer.  It is for these reasons, and of course the fact that I was lucky enough to befriend an amazingly talented blogger (the fabulous Anna O' Shea of Style Girl) when I entered college, that Anna and I have decided to team up in an attempt to provide our readers with more frequent outfit posts, by working on them together.  It can only go uphill from here!  Watch this space.

With the harsh realisation that Winter is coming to an end (I know it's odd that Winter is probably my favourite season), I think that I should probably start focusing on Spring, and my acceptance of its arrival- at least I like flowers..

In other news..
ALEXANDER McQUEEN;
SS/11 dresses, anyone?

I absolutely love Alexander McQueen.  Always have, probably always will.  This season's line is no exception- the debut line entirely by Sarah Burton, it's gorgeous.  Just look at these dresses!  I mean, everyone thought that the line would suffer after the tragic and unexpected death of Alexander 'Lee' McQueen, but Sarah Burton has truly stepped up to the plate, and the Spring/Summer 2011 collection could scarcely be more impressive- love it.
