The Color Blocking Trend

Color Blocking is the new hot trend. It combines two or more blocks of color next to each other in an ensemble to create fashionable effects. The trend is everywhere; on the runways (Gucci), on red carpet as well as celebrity street style and celebrities love it. Every time I see a celebrity dressed according to the color blocking trend, I just smile. It is very summer-y. Take a look at the pictures below and dare to try the trend. Just be careful and choose the right colors, for example purple and orange always look good together, blue with yellow, pink with yellow too.

As you already know mary janes are shoes, heels to be precise typically with a single-buckle strap across the instep or ankle. They used to be worn by young girls and dancers; though nowadays many things have changed. They come in a variety of styles; platforms, peep toes, with many straps. Fergie has a song named "Mary Jane Shoes", Carrie Bradshaw while looking at the shoes in the Vogue accessories closet has said "Oh my god! Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes!
