Keep Friends with a Mary Jane

As you already know mary janes are shoes, heels to be precise typically with a single-buckle strap across the instep or ankle. They used to be worn by young girls and dancers; though nowadays many things have changed. They come in a variety of styles; platforms, peep toes, with many straps. Fergie has a song named "Mary Jane Shoes", Carrie Bradshaw while looking at the shoes in the Vogue accessories closet has said "Oh my god! Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes! I thought these were an urban shoe myth" and celebrities seem to love them. Enjoy some of them wearing the shoes!

Cover Girl: Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway is London Calling in her cover shoot for the August 2011 issue of Harper's Bazaar. Anne is no stranger to playful dream-like photo shoots, she did an amazing "Fall Romance" shoot for Vogue November 2010. This shoot for Bazaar is color coding to a "T." Anne is seen wearing only red, white, and black. She is accented beautifully by iconic London symbols including a telephone booth, double decker bus, english school boy, and a tartan clad chap.

Cropped Tops

The cropped tops have made a comeback lately. And by cropped i mean the shirts that show your belly. They surely can't be worn by anyone; only by those with flat abs. A cropped top can be sexy, cute, classy or even trashy, it depends on how it's worn. Prefer to wear your cropped top with maxi skirts and pants. When wearing it with shorts or mini skirts, prefer to wear a loose top (like Lindsay Lohan) that will make you look cute and not trashy.
