Born in Melbourne, Australia, Bambi Northwood Blyth is one of the most up and coming models of today. She started out being part of tabloid fodders as she was dating Ksubi's founder, Dan Single. After moving the New York to work with Elite models, she started booking gigs with Deisel, Rag & Bone, and Jen Kao. Later she made her big break when she walked for Giles, Emanuel Ungaro, and Loewe. Then she made her way to Paris where she strutted her stuff for Chanel and Balenciaga.
I really really love this girl! I think there is something completely different about her than many other models. I mean yes she is slim like any other model and yes her face is flawless, but there is something edgy about her. Her eyebrows are freaking awesome, and to be honest, she is probably the only person who could ever pull something like that off. I think it separates her from all the other plain-faced models you see today and gives her a grundgy not-so-perfect appeal. And yet, she still manages to pull off the most feminine shoots especially the ones where she's all propped up in lacy lingerie. I think she's just so different and adds a dynamic to the modeling industry that it makes me so happy to see more of her work!
