Photographed by Marek Berry and styled by Laury Smith, Alle Johnson sports some of the loudest colorful prints from the likes of Missoni, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel in this editorial. The shoot is very modern meets eclectic meets retro meets tribal and I can't stress how much I've been longing for a new shoot that sort of pushed the envelope on styling. Normally for spring/summer editorials and lookbooks, you see pastel gowns, lacy tops, and the occasional neon separates, but you don't always see a strong use of different bold patterns and prints. Well sure there's the floral print that is almost everywhere, but this shoot screams different to me and it's so modern! To top it all off, beauty and hair stylist, Tsipporah Liebman, gave Alle a messy bun with some stray whispies while keeping the lips nude, eyes orange, and cheeks bright. Love the makeup and styling of this shoot! The scenery could definitely have been different than the white wall, but I was swooned by everything else that it doesn't really matter!!
YAY for bold prints this summer! What trend are you guys most excited to see?
