The reason I first noticed Peter, before we had even spoken, was the way he was dressed. The first time I saw him, he wore black skinny jeans, a white Lyle & Scott polo and a navy cardigan. As the school year progressed, his outfits got better and better, and by March- after quite a few chats of course, which had determined that we had a lot more than a love for clothes in common- he was my boyfriend. By this stage, I had discovered, much to my delight, that Peter enjoyed shopping almost as much as I did, and dragging him to the shops proved to be less than torturous provided I throw a couple of boys stores into the mix.
Seeing as I've already pretty much dedicated this post to Peter, and am hereby treating him as my male fashion inspiration, I'm going to go ahead and delve into his mysterious wardrobe and see what I can come up with. Standing at 6 feet 1 inch tall with long legs to boot, Peter is rarely seen minus his pair of signature skinny jeans;
The jeans shown in this picture are Nudie and were bought at Barney's, on Fifth Avenue in New York for $200. The belt is vintage from Urban Renewal, and was bought at Urban Outfitters in London for £15.
This polo was on we found last Summer in the Lyle & Scott store at Covent Garden, London. We both loved it, and so he bought it for quite a low price of £20- though he doesn't wear it that often.
The weather in Dublin is pretty temperamental, and a pair of sturdy shoes are a must-have for walking from place to place. There is nothing worse than battling through a long day at college with wet feet. These brogues are from H by Hudson and cost £100.
Sadly, Peter and I wear the same watch, except that mine is gold. This watch is a Casio and can be found on Asos £25, as opposed to paying a little more for the same thing from Urban Outfitters. I got mine on Ebay, however, and paid around €20 for it, brand new.
