Jac Jagaciak- model extraordinaire. Seriously. I first noticed Jac in Calvin Klein's S/S 2010. I was absent-mindedly flicking through the pictures sur l'internet, when I was probably meant to be studying for my Leaving Cert or doing something else constructive.
Jac is signed to IMG models, and this, perhaps, is why she appeared on our very own "The Model Agent", an Irish model scouting programme run by IMG (which, surprisingly, isn't half bad!)
Jac, at only sixteen years old, is in the prime of her career, and enjoying life as a top supermodel- though still a straight A student according to her mother. Jac started modeling when she was only thirteen years old, after her sister encouraged her to attend a casting at a local shopping centre in her home country of Poland. By Fall 2007, Jac was already the face of Hermès and by 2008 she was appearing on the cover of world renowned fashion magazines, like Elle, Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.
Jac made her runway debut for Calvin Klein in 2009, and has been working pretty much non-stop ever since, working with impressive names such as Marc Jacobs, Prada, D&G, Gucci, Givenchy and Valentino. I was so taken by Jac when she appeared on "The Model Scout". She seemed modest, well-grounded, and certainly very intelligent, sporting a classy and well tailored outfit. She chatted amicably to the girls, and even spoke about how her fashion sense has developed over her years in the business.
I will definitely continue to follow Jac's career, she is a great model, and I'm sure will continue to appear on runway after runway for many years to come.
