Sigh
Oh how I am obsessing over short platinum locks. Some day when I'm brave enough I will take a cue from these two lovely ladies, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan. They prove short hair can still be versatile and suprisingly quite feminine.

hair how-to: side chignon
You may have seen this hair how-to floating around the blog-world but I couldn't help but share! This is a simple, elegant side chignon. Very classic and super chic.
1.} Start by spraying hair with Tonic Lotion followed by Thickening Hairspray. Use a round brush to blow dry hair smooth. You could also do this style on second-day (or dare I say) third-day hair.
2.} Once completely dry use a large-barrel (around 1"to 1 1/2") to create waves from ears down.
3.} Tease the hair gently at the crown to create volume and height. Spray with Classic Hairspray.
4.} Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.
5.} Once you've twisted to your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls. Pin them back over the twist.
6.} Finish with Classic Hairspray. Voila!

COCKTAIL RINGS and nail varnish.
I love cocktail rings at the moment.
I think they can really brighten up the dullest of outfits, and they feel nice and heavy on your fingers, making your hand feel small and dainty.
Add some pretty nail varnish and you're good to go.
Recently, I got two lovely rings in Topshop, which I plan to wear to next week with a plain black dress and coral nail varnish.

Your skin will feel smoother and firmer, regular treatments can diminish the appearance of cellulite and other skin irregularities.
Sunset Plaza Drive
Toni Garrn models for Camilla Akrans in Harper's Bazaar. This shoot possesses such a liveliness and feminine charm with every white, crisp, tailored garment. The fact that it's in LA gives it this super glam golden girl vibe. She looks very fresh and beautiful! I love the white floppy hat and those tiny flower pieces in her hair! Very fresh looking for spring and summer :)
til then, I'm sneezing away in my bed on this fine tuesday as I'm combating a cold.....blechhhh
stay well everyone!

the bold and the beautiful
Bright and beautiful are synonymous in my world, so you can imagine how happy I am that bold, bright colours are a huge trend for spring 2011. This isn't just something for the wardrobe either - bright and bold make-up looks have been all over the runways. There's something for everyone with this trend as you can either tone it down or go all out with colour. Check out some of my fave images for inspiration -
Bright colours can pick you up when you're having a bad day and help you feel energized - another great reason to try this trend. I know I'm going to!
